Acting Career: Idris Elba started his acting career in 1994, with his roles in British TV series like “Bramwell”, “Absolutely Fabulous”, “The Bill”, and “Family Affairs”. After appearing in Dangerfield (1995) and Ultraviolet (1998), Elba decided to move to New York City.
